Also, my computer is beginning to act senile. I have two months before the extended warranty expires; I'm hoping that any disastrous hardware failure will happen before then, so much so that I'm tempted to begin suddenly treating the poor machine very roughly. ...Except, if I do that, then it will fail beyond repair three days after my warranty expires.

So I'm being extra nice to it.
